STEP 3 Attachthe rail to the header bracket
1. Alignthe railwiththe headerbracket.Inserttheclevispinthroughtheholes inthe header
bracketand rail.Secure withthe ringfastener.
NOTE: Usethepacking materialasa protectivebasefor thegaragedoor opener.

STEP 4 Position the garage door opener
To preventdamagetogarage door,restgaragedooropenerrailon 2x4 placedontopsedion of
door.
1. Removethe packingmaterialand liftthegarage door openeronto a ladder.
2. Fullyopenthe door and placea 2x4 (laid flat) underthe rail. Forone-piecedoorswithout
tracks,laythe 2x4 on it'sside.
NOTE: A 2x4 is idealfor settingthedistancebetweentherail and thedoor. Iftheladder is not tall
enoughyou willneedhelp atthispoint. Ifthe door hitsthe trolleywhenit is raised,pull the trolleyrelease
arm downto disconnecttheinnerand outer trolley.Slidethe outer trolleytowardthegarage door
opener. Thetrolleycan remaindisconnected until instructed.
