FUNCTIONS THAT CAN BE RESET

Copying needs may vary. For flexibility, some functions, listed below, can be
reset. To reset any of these functions, contact your service representative.
1. Changing the Auto Clear time
If the machine is idle for about two minutes, all settings are cleared. This is
called Auto Clear. The auto clear time can be set from 1 to 5 minutes, or it
can be turned off.
2. Copy count up or down
When copying starts, the indicator shows 1 and increments by one each
time a copy is made until copying ends. This display can be changed so
that it decrements by one (from the set number of copies) to show the
number of remaining copies.
3. Disabling the key sound signal
The tone heard when the keys are pressed can be disabled.
4. Disabling automatic density adjustment
If originals that are not suitable for automatic density adjustment are often
copied, automatic density adjustment can be disabled.
5. Changing the automatic density adjustment
If copies consistently come out too dark or too light, the target density of
the automatic density function can be changed.
6. Changing the default copy exit
The lower paper exit can become the default exit instead of the upper exit.
7. Changing the default paper selection
A different paper selection, such as Sheet Feeder or Synchro Cut, can be
made the default selection instead of manual feed.
