3. Adding Toner
The Add Toner indicator blinks when toner is running short. It is continuously
lit when toner has run out. About 16 feet (5 m) of paper can be copied after
blinking starts, but part of some copies may be blurred, so replace the toner
cartridge as soon as possible.
Use the toner cartridge specified for this copier.
Store new toner cartridges placed horizontally in a cool and dark place. Don't keep them
at temperatures higher than 95

o
F (35
C).
1. Open the original table. Lift it care-
fully until it locks in position.
2. Open the toner cartridge cover.
3. While pressing the toner cartridge to
the right, lift the left end and remove
the cartridge.
