6. While holding the paper release
lever on the left end of the paper
spool, install a roll of paper.
7. Set the paper spool.
8. Place the leading edge of the roll
paper on the paper guide plate.
Make sure that the leading edge is po-
sitioned straight by aligning it with the
size indication lines on the guide plate.
9. Close the paper feed roller cover.
