1. While Copying :
Do not turn off the main switch.
Do not open or lift any unit.
Do not unplug the power cord.
Do not move or tilt the copier.
2. Keep corrosive liquid, such as acid, off the machine.
3. Do not touch copy paper if your fingers are wet or oily; fingerprints may
appear on copies.
4. Do not allow paper clips, staples, or other small metallic objects to fall
inside the machine.
5. Always turn the main switch off when you have finished copying for the
day.
6. Do not unplug the copier. The copier has a temperature function that
prevents condensation even if temperature varies greatly. This function is
disabled when the copier is unplugged. Do not leave the power cord where
it will be tripped over.
7. Since some parts of the copier are supplied with high electrical voltage,
touch only the parts specified in this manual.
8. Do not modify or replace any parts other than the ones specified in this
manual.
9. If the copier must be transported by vehicle, please contact your service
representative.
10. The following types of originals should be inserted in a carrier sheet.
Folded originals
Paste-up originals
Perforated originals
Creased originals
Damaged originals
Curled originals
11. We recommend not using the repeat copy function with carrier sheets.
12. Do not copy carbon-paper originals.
