1. Setting Copy Paper on the Paper Tray of the Sheet Feeder
The Add Paper indicator lights when there is no copy paper inside the paper
tray on the sheet feeder. Set copy paper on the paper tray. For best perform-
ance, use only recommended paper.
If you want to change the paper size inside the paper tray, remove the remaining paper
inside the paper tray first; then, set the proper size paper.
Up to 23" x 35" (A1) sized paper can be set on the paper tray.
Up to 100 sheets of ordinary copy paper can be set.
If the loaded copy paper won't be used for a long time, keep it in a vinyl bag.
Depending on the number of sheets and paper quality, the copy paper may not be fed.
When this happens, adjust the paper feed pressure lever. Adjusting the paper feed pres-
sure lever to "3" slows down the copying speed. If repeated adjustment of the paper feed
pressure lever is not successful, contact your service representative.
REPLENISHING SUPPLIES
1. Pull the release lever on the right
side and release the lock.
2. While holding the release lever, pull
out the paper tray.
