5. When the Misfeed Indicator
A sheet of copy paper is misfed. Removal depends on where the copy paper is
misfed. Check where the misfed copy paper is and remove it.
Warning: Do not touch any parts not specified in the following
procedure. Some parts are hot or carry high voltage.
Remove the misfed copy paper without tearing it. Remaining bits of paper will cause more
misfeeds and may eventually cause a serious failure. If you tear the paper when removing
it, make sure to remove all the torn pieces.
If copy paper misfeeds repeatedly, call your service representative.
5-1. When A is lit and the misfed paper is in the middle unit
is Lit
1. Lift the middle unit until it locks in
position.
2. Remove the misfed copy paper.
