3-2. Blurred Copies
The possible causes for blurred copies may be as follows:
- Copy density is too light -
Reduce copy density. For details, see "Adjusting Copy Density" .
- Toner is running short -
The Add Toner indicator blinks when toner is running short. Blurred copies
may result. If the Add Toner indicator blinks, replace the toner cartridge as
soon as possible. For details, see "Adding Toner" .
- Inappropriate Copy Paper is Used -
If you use paper that is rough, coated, or otherwise inappropriate, copies may
be blurred. Use only recommended paper.
3-3. Spotty or Partially Blank Copies
- The copy paper might be damp -
Cut a two foot length (600 mm) to remove the top layer of paper from the
roller. See page 18 for instructions.
