1. Original Misfeed indicator
Lights if an original misfeeds within the copier.
2. Used Toner Tank indicator
Lights when it is time to empty the used toner tank.
3. Copy Exit key
Selects either upper or lower copy exit.
4. Ready indicator
Lights when the copier is ready.
5. Wait indicator
Indicates that the machine is not ready to copy.
6. Copy Counter
Displays the number of copies entered, the number of copies made, and
service codes.
7. Stand-by/Clear Modes key
Press to clear copier of previously entered settings. Press for more than 2
seconds to enter the stand-by mode. In stand-by mode, all indicators ex-
cept this indicator turn off.
8. Fusing Temperature key
Press to match the fusing temperature to the type of copy paper.
9. Plus key (+ key)
Press to increase the number of copies to be made. (The maximum repeat
copies is 10.)
10. Minus key (– key)
Press to decrease the number of copies to be made.
11. Clear/Stop key
Press to cancel the copy number entered. While copying, press to stop
copy operation.
12. Auto-Density key
Press to enter and exit the auto image density mode.
13. Manual Image Density

Show the selected density level.
14. Add Toner indicator
Lights when it is time to install a new toner cartridge.
15. Darker key
Press to make copies darker.
16. Lighter Copy indicator
There are 26 manual ID levels but only 13 manual ID LEDs.
The Lighter Copy indicator lights when manual ID levels from 14 to 26 are
selected.
17. Lighter key
Press to make copies lighter.
18. Misfeed indicator
Lights if paper misfeeds within the copier.
