Set up the machine
• Plug in the machine and switch on the power
Before connecting the power cord, make sure the voltage and frequency shown on the
machine conform to your electrical power.
Turn off the power switch, and insert the foot control plug (!), machine plug (_) and power
supply plug (&) in this order.
For your safety
1. While in operation, always keep your eyes on the sewing area, and do not touch any
moving parts such as the thread take-up lever, handwheel or needle.
2. Always turn off the power switch, and unplug from the power supply:
• When leaving the machine unattended.
e When attaching or removing parts.
= When cleaning the machine.
3. Do not place anything on the foot control, except an use.
