Configuring the Infrared Settings for FIR

Make sure you install the driver for the infrared device (see
on page 4 - 1).
To configure your computer for Fast Infrared (FIR) communication follow
these steps:
1. Click Start, point to Settings (or just click Control Panel from the Start
menu) and click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Wireless Link icon.
3. Click Hardware (tab), then click Properties (button).
4. Select Advanced (tab).
5. Select "Infrared Transceiver" and change the Value to "HP HSDL 3600".
6. Click OK > OK.
