Removing the Battery

If you are confident in undertaking upgrade procedures yourself, for safety
reasons it is best to remove the battery. Under normal circumstances we rec-
ommend that you do not remove the battery.

Battery Removal Process

1. Turn the computer off, and turn it over.

2. Remove screws

cover, and remove the cover.
3. Carefully (use a small screwdriver) disconnect the battery cable at point
4. Lift the battery out of the computer's battery bay by pulling on the tab
5. Connect the battery cable before reinserting the battery.
