Service Parameters for PRI
To subscribe to PRI service, certain parameters are required to establish
service. The information provided below identifies the recommended and
supported parameters for PRI service.
PRI Service Request Information
When ordering PRI service, provide the following service request
information:
Equipment Information
Product Manufacturer - AltiGen Communications, Inc.
Product Name - AltiServ PBX Phone System
CSU/DSU - ADTRAN T1 ACE (recommended) or other CSU/DSU
Technical Information for PRI with Voice
Switch Type:
- 5ESS (recommended)
- DMS (recommended)
- NI2 (recommended)
- 4ESS
- MEGACOMM
Framing:
- Super Frame (SF)/D4
- Extended Super Frame (ESF) (recommended)
Line Coding:
- Alternate Mark Inversion (AMI)
- B8ZS (recommended)
Physical Termination - RJ-48X or RJ-48C
Wire: 4 wires
PRI Channel Assignment
D Channels Assignment: 24th channel (channel ID 23)
