Moving Objects

Objects that you place outside
the print border (the dotted line
near the perimeter of the drawing
area) will not appear when you
print.
Moving one object moves all the
selected objects. As you move
the mouse, an outline of the
objects follows your motion,
indicating where the object will be
placed when you release the
mouse button.
This method is known as the
"drag and drop" method of moving
objects.

create them. You can move them around your drawing as you like. This
section describes how to move objects in a drawing.
Use the rulers along the top and left side of the drawing area to help you
gauge the position of your objects relative to the total drawing area. The
default page size is 8.5" by 11", including the area outside the print
border.
