What to Do If a Test Fails
If the diagnostic tests fail, the 3C975 ATMLink NIC may not be
defective. Follow these steps to test the NIC further.
CAUTION: Make sure to turn the power off and disconnect
all cables from the NIC before inserting or removing it from
the computer.
1 Check the NIC installation by reviewing the installation
instructions in Chapter 2.
Make sure the board is seated correctly in the slot.
