Action
1. Remove all expansion cards from the blade server
(see "Removing an I/O expansion card" on page
71).
2. Remove all storage drives from the blade server
(see "Removing a hot-swap storage drive" on
page 62).
3. If the error still occurs, replace the system-board
assembly (see "Removing the system-board
assembly" on page 97 and "Installing the
system-board assembly" on page 98).

71).
2. Remove all storage drives from the blade server
(see "Removing a hot-swap storage drive" on

3. If the error still occurs, replace the system-board

Replace the system battery (see "Removing the
battery" on page 58 and "Installing the battery" on
page 60).
Note: After you replace the system battery, verify
that the blade server is running IMM firmware
version 1.10 or newer to optimize the performance of
the new system battery.
1. Make sure that the room temperature is within
the operating specifications (see "Features and
specifications" on page 9).
2. Make sure that none of the air vents on the
BladeCenter unit and on the blade server are
blocked.
3. Make sure that all of the fans on the BladeCenter
unit are running.
