Appendix B - Board Configuration Differences
Memory
To reset the memory of the HandReader follow these steps-
1. Remove power and battery jumper, if a back up battery is installed
Reset
2. Press down on reset button and apply power
3. Release button
4. Reader will boot to

ERASE
Press 1 to erase setup i.e. address, outputs, passwords, but retain user
database and datalogs
Press 9 to erase everything i.e. HandReader goes back to factory
defaults
:1 SETUP
:9 ALL!!!
