DAMPER ROD BOLT
Apply Bond 1215 and Thread Lock 1324
to the damper rod bolt and tighten the bolt
with specified torque by the Special tool

Front fork damper rod bolt
OIL SEAL
Install the oil seal to the outer tube by using the
special tool as shown.
Fork oil seal installer : 09940-50112
FORK OIL
For the fork oil, be sure to use a front fork oil whose
viscosity rating meets specifications below.
Front fork oil specification : TELUS #22

Hold the front fork vertical and adjust the fork oil level
with the special tool.
Front fork oil level
Front fork level gauge : 09943-74111
CAUTION
When adjusting oil level, remove the fork spring and
compress the inner tube fully.
