Installing/removing the dummy module

8.3 Installing/removing the dummy module
Unused bays are fitted with a dummy module. Remove the dummy module
before you install an additional hard disk module.

Ê Press the two tabs on the dummy module together until the lock is
released (1).
Ê Remove the memory module from the slot (2).
To install the dummy module, follow the above procedure in reverse.

CAUTION!
Keep the dummy module for future use. If you have removed the hard
disk module and do not replace it with a new one, you must reinstall the
dummy module to comply with EMC (electromagnetic compatibility)
regulations and cooling and fire protection requirements. Make sure that
the dummy module engages properly in the bay.
