CPU Status

Figure 18: CPU Status
Node # CPU Status
Defines whether the selected CPU is used or not. You should only
disable a CPU if it has reported an internal error. The error is recorded in
the system event log, which you can view with the SCU (Server Configu-
ration Utility) or the RemoteView or ServerView programs.
Failed
The CPU cannot be used by the operating system. As long as the
status is Failed, an entry is written to the system event log each
time the system is started.
Disabled
The CPU cannot be used by the operating system.
Enabled
The CPU can be used by the operating system.
I
If there is only one CPU, this parameter has no effect. This CPU
is always used when the system is started. Also if four CPUs are
installed and none of them are set to Enabled, the first CPU is
used.
