Adding OCR to a process
Use the Component tab in the MFP form attributes to activate the
OCR component. After OCR is active, all image files within the data
stream are processed and converted to searchable documents. Set
up the OCR attributes to match the appropriate business-process
requirements, and then add a destination component to the end of the
process. The image files are automatically converted to the required
output file format and are then sent to the destination component.

attributes values.
Using OCR in a process
The primary use of the OCR is to convert searchable data files to one
of seven supported formats. The OCR conversions also provide
accurate, consistent quality when the font varies among imaged
documents.
