Form Fields
Note
Form Fields only apply to the HP LaserJet 4100mfp and 9000mfp.
Click the New Field button to add form fields. After the first row is
established, use the tab key to move through and add additional
fields.
The field name, comment, and type can be configured for each field.
The following are the available field attributes:
For each field type, click the Properties button ([...]) on the leftmost
column to define additional attributes.
Edit Button
To edit any of the function-key tree hierarchy entries, highlight the
entry and press Edit....
Remove Button
To remove any of the function-key tree hierarchy entries, highlight the
entry and press Remove. The system prompts for confirmation.
Note
The remove operation cannot be undone.
ENWW
Field Name. The field label name is a string type and can consist
of any alphanumeric characters. Use of special characters (for
example, ~, !, @, #, $, %) is not recommended.
Comment. This is a description field for administrator reference.
This field is not visible to the MFP user.
Type.
• String—Alphanumeric field.
• Integer—Integer values.
• Float—Floating point numbers.
• String List—Keyword list of values. For each field type, further
set the field attributes by clicking the Properties button on the
leftmost column on each entry.
