Server Software Installation; Mfp Chai Jar File Installation - HP T1936AA - Digital Sending Software Support Manual

In order to support access to the Novell NetWare resources, the
HP DSS Workflow requires all of the following software:

Server software installation

To install the HP DSS Workflow software, insert the
HP DSS Workflow CD into the computer CD drive and double-click
Setup.exe. Follow the onscreen instructions.
CAUTION
The HP DSS Workflow software cannot be installed on the same
computer as the HP Autostore server.

MFP Chai jar file installation

During installation, the Chai jar files that are required for each MFP
are copied into the product-specific ChaiJars subdirectory of the
HP DSS Workflow program directory. For more information, see

To install MFP Chai jar files by using the HP Remote
Chai Loader (RCL) utility (4100mfp and 9000mfp)
The RCL utility is installed from the HP DSS Workflow server CD
during server installation.

Novell NetWare v 3.12, 3.2, 4.11, 4.2, or 5 running on the Novell
NetWare server
Novell NetWare Client v 4.6 or later on the Windows XP or
Windows 2000 computer that runs the HP DSS Workflow
software
To open the RCL utility, click Start, click Programs, click
Hewlett-Packard, and then click Remote ChaiLoader.
On the Chai Package page, select Browse.
In the Select Package dialog box, browse to the C:\Program
Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP DSS Workflow\ChaiJars\4100_9000
directory.
Select the hp_laserjet_dynamicmenus_30a_x.jar file and
select Open.
