Click Import. The package is imported into the Draft group of the Application Catalog and the Validation
Page opens.
Selecting a Current Package
Task:
To select a current package:
1.
Launch the ConflictSolver Process Assistant. The Select a Package Page opens.
2.
Select Current. The Application Catalog Group tree is displayed.
3.
Expand the Group tree and select the package that you want to use as a source package in conflict detection.
4.
Click Continue. The Validation Page opens.
Current and New Packages
On the Select a Package Page, you choose the package that you are going to process using the ConflictSolver
Assistant. You can choose to use either a Current or New package:
•
Current—Package that has already been imported into the Application Catalog.
•
New—Package that will be imported into the Draft Group of the Application Catalog, a working Group used
for packages in the process of being prepared for distribution.
After you have selected a package, you can use it in the Validation, Best Practices, Detect Conflicts, Resolve
Conflicts, Reporting, and Organize Package tasks of the ConflictSolver Assistant.
