Navigating in a Virtualization Assistant

Edition • The Microsoft App-V Assistant, ThinApp Assistant, and Citrix Assistant are included in the Virtualization
Pack.
Task: To navigate from one page of a virtualization Assistant to another, do one of the following:
• To navigate directly to a specific page, click the appropriate icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the
page.
• To follow the assistant steps sequentially, do one of the following:
•
Click the Next or Back arrow buttons to move forward or backward.
• Press CTRL+TAB to move to the next page and CTRL+SHIFT+TAB to move to the previous page.
• To move back to the Home page and view the overview diagram, click the Home button on the navigation bar.

Opening the Installation Designer

Edition • The Microsoft App-V Assistant, ThinApp Assistant, and Citrix Assistant are included in the Virtualization
Pack.
The Installation Designer tab displays the views in the AdminStudio interface. You can use this tab to configure
your Windows Installer package. To open a view in the Installation Designer, click the Installation Designer tab.
Note • The Installation Designer and the virtualization Assistants run simultaneously. Any changes that you make in
one are reflected instantly in the other.
