Each page in the Process Assistant contains a Help Links list control and, when applicable, a More Options list

control to assist you:

Opening the AdminStudio Interface

To open the AdminStudio interface and Tools Gallery (and hide the Process Assistant), click on the Tools tab.

Home Page

The Home Page displays a diagram outlining the major tasks that are usually performed when a package is being

prepared for deployment. On this Page, you can also select an installation program, and when you click Start, the

Process Assistant will open the Page that is most appropriate for the file selected. For example, if you select:

Windows Installer package

you are prompted to modify this package either directly or by creating a transform. Because this package is

already in Windows Installer format, the repackaging step would not be necessary.

(*.msi)—The Customize Page opens, bypassing the Package Page, and

(*.exe)—The Package Page opens and you are prompted to repackage this setup

More Options

Provides additional configuration options

relating to the specific area on the Process

Assistant page. These are less common

options that complete the functionality of the
