Making and Answering Calls

• Internal calls are also known as Intercom calls. These are calls that
originate or that you make to another station within your phone system.
• External calls are those that originate from or that you make to a source
outside your company's phone system (for example, customers, vendors,
etc.).
Making Calls
Dial an Internal Call
1. Lift the handset.

SPEAKER*

Begin dialing from the dialpad.
2. Dial the station number.
Dial an External Call
The following procedure provides the steps to manually dial a call. However,
you can also use this method using a speed dial number (see "Speed Dialing"
on page 2-56 for details).

Go to Step 2 below.
2. Dial the access code to get to an outside line.
