Ping Utility
Click Ping Utility in the left submenu and the Ping Utility screen is displayed.
The Ping Utility feature allows the system administrator to send a signal to an
IP address and receive various information on the speed of the connection.
To ping an IP address:
1. In the Ping IP Address dialog box, type an IP address or DNS name in
the text field.
2. Click Ping the Site.
Trace a Route
Click Trace a Route in the left submenu and the Trace a Route screen is
displayed.
By entering an IP address or DNS name, you can trace the route that the signal
takes to get to that site from your server.
To trace a route:
1. In the Search for the Site dialog box, type a Web address in the text
field.
2. Click Trace the Route.
A results dialog box is displayed with the following information:

First ping
I
Second ping
I
Third ping
