If General Purpose Web Server is selected, then profile options are
displayed on the screen. These options are:
1. Set Number of Starting Servers—This option changes the number of
starting servers to 8 and is a typical, general purpose configuration.
2. Set Minimum Spare Servers—This option changes the number of
spare servers on hand to 5. This option allows that at any one time there
are five servers waiting to service connections. This option is a typical,
general purpose configuration.
3. Set Maximum Spare Servers—This option changes the maximum
number of spare servers to 20 and prevents the system from trying to
service more users than it is capable of servicing. This option is a
typical, general purpose configuration.
4. Set Maximum Clients—This option changes the maximum number of
simultaneous users to 150 and limits the maximum number of clients
who can connect to the server at any one time. This option is a typical,
general purpose configuration.
5. Set Maximum Requests per Client—This option changes the
maximum number of requests allowed per client to 150. This option
limits the number of requests that any one client can make and is a
typical, general purpose configuration.
Select the check box beside each option to select that option, and then click
Apply Changes.
If Static Content Web Server - Normal Traffic is selected, then profile
options are displayed on the screen. These options are:

starting servers to 256 and is a typical, general purpose configuration.
2. Set Minimum Spare Servers—This option changes the number of
spare servers on hand to 5. This option allows that at any one time there
are five servers waiting to service connections. This option is a typical,

number of spare servers to 256 and prevents the system from trying to
