Connect the management Ethernet interface on the firewall to the PC using a crossover Ethernet
cable.
Configure the IP addresses of the server and the PC to be on the same network segment. Ensure
the connectivity between the router and the PC. In this example, the IP address of the management
Ethernet port is 192.168.80.10 and that of the PC is 192.168.80.200.
You can use the ping command to verify the connectivity.
You can upgrade applications of the device through the console port or the management Ethernet port.
