Do not touch the surface-mounted components of the memory module directly with your hands.
Hold the memory module only by its non-conductive edge. Because a memory module is
vulnerable to ESD, improper operation may cause damage to it.
Do not use too much force in the operation.
To protect the removed memory module, place it in an antistatic bag.

Installing a Memory Module

Follow these steps to install a memory module:
Step1 Locate the card (MPU or LPU) to which you will install a memory module, and put the card on a flat
worktable.
Step2 Align the polarization notch of the memory module with the key in the connector.
Step3 Insert the memory module into the slot.
Step4 Carefully and firmly press the memory module at both ends until you hear a click. This indicates the
memory module is seated in the connector.
Step5 Check that the release latches have firmly locked the memory module in position.
