To protect the removed LPU, place it in an antistatic bag.
If you do not install a new LPU in the slot, install a blank panel to prevent dust from entering the
chassis. For how to install a blank panel, refer to "Installing and Removing a Blank Panel" on page
7-9.

Blank Panel Structure
Installed in empty slots on the device, blank panels can prevent dust from entering the firewall chassis.
Two types of blank panels are available in the device:
Blank panel for an MPU/LPU slot
Blank panel for a power module slot
