Do not touch the surface-mounted components of the memory module directly with your hands. Hold
the memory module only by its non-conductive edge. Because a memory module is vulnerable to ESD,
improper operation may damage it.

Function of an Air Filter

Installed at the left air intake of the device, an air filter prevents dust from entering the chassis.

Installing an Air Filter

Follow these steps to install an air filter:
Step1 Face the left side of the chassis, where the air filter is to be installed.
Step2 Position the upper slide rail horizontally near the top of the left side of the chassis, as shown in Figure
7-37. Align the screw holes on the slide rail with those on the chassis.
Step3 Fasten the fastening screws one by one by turning them clockwise with a Philips screwdriver.
Step4 Position the lower slide rail horizontally near the bottom of the left side of the chassis, as shown in
Figure 7-38. Align the screw holes on the slide rail with those on the chassis.
Step5 Fasten the fastening screws one by one by turning them clockwise with a Philips screwdriver.
