Use the following basic procedure to edit your
documents using the Edit Pad.
KEY POINT: Editing thick documents To edit
books or thick documents, make a copy of the
desired page or pages and use the copy for
editing when using the Edit Pad. Use the original
Edit
document (book or thick document) on the
Pad
Document Glass to copy and print the edited
copy.
NOTE: Do not attempt to use the DADF to flatten
the spine of a book. Damage to the platen glass
may result.
