If there is a break in the line enclosing the
inside area, or if the line is too thin, the inside
area is colored the same as the outside area.
If a point is placed in an area where a portion
of the area has less than 0.5 mm between
lines, the copier/printer is unable to recognize
the area.
A single tone indicates the area has been
saved.
You can continue to enter more point areas
without selecting Point Outside Area again.
Simply point to another area using the Edit
Pen.
To cancel, select Cancel Areas after you
have defined the area.
NOTE: The defined area of the copy may reflect a
0.5 mm misregistration.
8
Select a color from the Color Palette.
You can apply only one color to the areas defined
for each Edit Number. To select a different color,
select the new color with the Edit Pen.
9
When you are finished editing the original, remove
it from the Edit Pad and place it face down in the
top left corner of the Document Glass.
10
If you wish to choose other features, touch Save
on the copier/printer Touch screen. Select any
other desired features (Reduce/Enlarge, Paper
Tray, etc.) and enter the desired number of
copies.
If you enlarge the defined area, you can enlarge
the area to fit on paper no bigger than 11 x 17
inches (A3).
