SELECTING AN AREA SHAPE
Using the Edit Pen
Always hold the Edit Pen perpendicular
(straight up) to the Edit Pad. If you hold the
pen at an angle, the point may not be entered
correctly.
An enclosed area can be no smaller than 3
mm in diameter or width.
If you touch the Edit Pen to the document on
the Edit Pad within 1 mm of a text character
or image, the copier/printer may read the point
as if it were part of the character or image.
Lines closer than 0.56 mm are read as one
line and the feature you select will not be
applied to that area. Refer to the illustration
below.
