Prepare the Library

Note:
If you are rack mounting a library that has not yet been installed,
you will not need to disconnect the library cabling. Skip to Step 5.
1. Disable any backup software that may try to access the library.
2. Switch off the power button at the rear of the library.
3. Disconnect the AC power cable.
4. Disconnect all cabling.
5. Move the library to the location of the rack. Make sure there is access to all sides of
the library and rack.
Warning:
The library is heavy, weighing approximately 240 pounds
(108.86 kg). You will need at least three people to safely move
the library.
How to Proceed
If you are rack mounting the library in an enclosed rack, proceed to Enclosed Rack
Mounting on page 8.
If you are rack mounting the library in a standard 19-inch rack, proceed to Attach the
Sliders on page 23.
