and down. The glass plate improves the results when scanning documents
when the book cradle is in the V or flat position. If documents are to be
scanned with the book cradle in the flat position, the glass plate can be
temporarily removed or replaced with the optional flat glass plate.
➢ Always hold the glass plate firmly with both hands due to its heavy
weight!
The glass plate is held on the support with four large slotted screws (1) and
is fixed in place with a tommy screw (2).
The tommy screw (2) is located in the middle between the four slotted
screws.
