Removing transport locks - BookTEK® 5 V3/V2 Archive
The scanner is equipped with a transport lock. The transport lock is located
on the back of the scanner, at the lower end of the scanner neck (1).
Before using the scanner for the first time, you must remove the transport
lock. To remove the transport lock, proceed as follows:
➢ Unscrew the transport lock counterclockwise completely from the
scanner.
➢ Save the transport lock for later use.
Mounting the V-glass plate - BookTEK® 5 V2 Archive
The BookTEK® 5 V3/V2 Archive can be equipped with a V-shaped or a flat
glass plate. The glass plate is equipped with a counterweight on the back.
Therefore, only a small amount of energy is required to move the plate up
