BATTERY REMOVAL
ACCESSING THE BATTERY
Make sure the ignition switch is
set to «OFF».
Lift up the saddle.
Remove the battery cover «1».
IMPORTANT

THE BATTERY IS BOUND TO THE
ELECTRIC CABLES. DO NOT FORCE
THE CABLES DURING REMOVAL.
COMPLETE REMOVAL
Disconnect first the negative ca-
ble (-) and then the positive (red)
(+).
Disconnect the drain tube.
Remove the battery from its
housing and place it on a flat
surface in a cool and dry place.
IMPORTANT
ONCE REMOVED
MUST BE PUT AWAY IN A SAFE
DÉPOSE DE LA BATTERIE
ACCÈS À LA BATTERIE
S'assurer que l'interrupteur d'al-
lumage soit sur « OFF ».
Soulever la selle.
Déposer le couvre-batterie « 1
».
ATTENTION
LA BATTERIE EST RELIÉE AUX CÂ-
BLES ÉLECTRIQUES. AU COURS DE
L'ENLÈVEMENT, NE PAS FORCER
LES CÂBLES.
DÉPOSE COMPLÈTE
Débrancher d'abord le câble né-
gatif (-) puis le câble positif (rou-
ge) (+).
Débrancher l'évent.
Déposer la batterie de son loge-
ment et la ranger sur une surfa-
ce horizontale dans un endroit
frais et sec.
ATTENTION
THE BATTERY
UNE FOIS RETIRÉE, LA BATTERIE
DOIT ÊTRE STOCKÉE DANS UN EN-
