• Start waste volumes are sufficient to wet and flush the channels prior to formula-
tion.

Action
Insert the waste collection tube into the left clip of the sample arm.
Fill syringes with the priming solvents. At least 6 mm (¼ inch) of fluid must be
added to each syringe.
Open the lid of the instrument.
Rotate the rotating block upwards so that the underside of the cartridge is
visible.
