Removing Unnecessary Macros from Document Templates
Open a Word doc, and navigate to Tools>Templates and Add Ins to confirm that only
gmlink.dot is listed under Global Templates and Add-ins.
Frequently, other macros will need to be removed from Templates and Add-ins, like Adobe
Acrobat Reader or Writer templates. You will also need to delete these using Windows Ex-
plorer in addition to removing them. The GMLink.dot file should also be removed, manu-
ally, as described below.
