Using TrayFaxAlert

The FaxPress's TrayFaxAlert feature provides automatic notification of incoming faxes.
TrayFaxAlert resides in your system tray and allows you view notices without starting Fax-
Press. In addition to alerting you with a ring tone, TrayFaxAlert also places a notice in your
Notices folder under your Mailbox folder each time a fax is received.
Note: To automatically launch TrayFaxAlert at startup, add the shortcut (not
the .exe file) to the Windows Startup folder.
Note: TrayFaxAlert cannot be run concurrently with FaxPress Outlook Direct
and/or Citrix Published Applications.

Setting Up TrayFaxAlert

To set up TrayFaxAlert, follow these steps:
1. Use your Start menu to navigate to the TrayFaxAlert icon in your FaxPress pro-
gram folders.
2. Click on TrayFaxAlert. The TrayFaxAlert icon will installed in your system tray
with a big red X' and the following message will be displayed:
3. Right click on the TrayFaxAlert icon in your system tray and select Properties
from the context menu.
The Properties window will be displayed.
