SERVICING
– When washing the appliance, do not point
pressurised water and/or steam jets at inter-
nal parts.
Since the appliance is used for preparing foods
for human consumption, special care must be
paid to everything relating to hygiene, and the
appliance and the entire surrounding environ-
ment must constantly be kept clean.
WARNING: Before starting any clean-
ing procedure, disconnect the power supply
using the switch-disconnector and allow the
appliance to cool.
The following precautions are also important.
WARNING: When using detergents,
rubber gloves, protective mask and safety
goggles must be worn in accordance with
the relevant safety regulations.
– Clean all parts of the appliance with warm wa-
ter, food-approved detergents and non-abra-
sive materials only.
– Thoroughly clean all parts which come into di-
rect or indirect contact with foods and all sur-
rounding areas.
To carry out this operation, proceed as follows.
Turn off the equipment and allow it to cool.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains
2)
power supply using the automatic switch-
disconnector.
Clean the plate thoroughly with a sponge

and normal detergent, rinse with plenty of
water and dry.
IMPORTANT:Do not point water jets
onto the plates when still hot as this can
damage them.
From time to time, after cleaning the plates,

apply a small amount of linseed oil or a simi-
lar product on the surface.

– After use, clean the accessories with a suitable
grease-remover product. We recommend
washing them in the dishwasher.
WARNING: Never use products con-
taining substances that are harmful or dan-
gerous for people's health (solvents, fuels,
etc.).
– Rinse surfaces with drinking water and dry
them.
– Pressurised water jets may only be used on ex-
ternal parts.
– Take special care not to damage stainless steel
surfaces. In particular, do not apply corrosive
products, do not use abrasive materials or
sharp tools.
– Remove food residues immediately before
they harden.
– Remove the limescale deposits which may
form on some of the appliance surfaces.
