Special operation mode (i410)
User's Manual
Select Special operation mode (i410) on the Special
functions (i400) display. The display shown below
appears.
Disable radiation
This option allows you to switch the exposure
function on or off.
When the exposure function is switched off no
radiation is generated when you press the
exposure button. The C-arm will move normally but
no radiation will be generated and no radiation
warning signals will be given, i.e. this is a "dummy
run" function for training and demonstration
purposes. For example, you might want to
demonstrate the C-arm movements before taking
exposures of children or nervous patients.
The exposure function is switched on when the
check box in the Disable radiation field is empty.
The exposure function is switched off when the
Disable radiation field is selected (check mark
shown).
Disable need for PC communication
This option allows you to demonstrate or practice
the functions of the X-ray unit without PC
communication. Note, however, that if the Romexis
software program is in the "Waiting for Ready"
status the communication to the PC cannot be
disabled. Close the Romexis program before
disabling the communication.
NOTE Radiation or PC communication cannot be activated if
demo licenses are switched on (i510).
