f. Turn C433, HORIZ COMP adjustment, on the HORIZ
VOL TS/ DIV circuit board (see Fig. 5-7) throughout its
range.
g. Note the tails on the spots in the display for certain
positions of the control (see Fig. 5-6A).
h. ADJUST -C433 for no tails or minimum tail length
on the spots (see Fig. 5-6B).
i. Set the LEFT-OFF -RIGHT switch to OFF and remove
th e transistor adapter from the Standard T est Fixture.
(Leave the protective box installed on the Standard Test
Fi xture. )
j. Swing the shield back over C433 and replace the screw
removed in part e.
k. (If doing Adjust steps only, go to step 20).

except as not ed above.
b. Tu rn the horizo ntal F INE PO SIT ION co ntrol
throughout its range.
c. CHECK FOR -S pot movement at least 2.5 divisions to
th e right and 2.5 div isions to th e left of the center verti ca l
graticule line (see Fig. 5-5) .
