8.3.3

Replacing the power supply unit 550 W

Only use original spare parts or components approved for this device. You can find more
information under "Hardware accessories (Page 33)".
Requirement
• You are familiar with the important safety instructions under "Safety instructions on
device and system extensions (Page 50)".
• The device is fully disconnected from the mains voltage, see "Switching off the device
(Page 72)".
• Screwdriver TORX T10
• Diagonal cutter
Procedure
1. Open the device. See the notes under "Open the device (Page 77)".
2. Disconnect the power cables from the drives and the motherboard.
3. Remove the cable ties securing the power cables in the device.
4. Remove the four fixing screws that are marked in the figure below.
5. Pull the power supply unit upward and out of the device.
6. Install the power supply unit.
7. Secure the power supply unit with the screws shown.
8. Connect the cables to the drives and the motherboard.
9. Secure the power supply unit cables in the device again using cable ties.
10. Close the device.
11. Check the safe state of the device.
12. Switch on the power supply unit.
