Changing the backup battery

Replace the backup battery in good time. See information under "Maintenance intervals
(Page 115)".
Only use original spare parts, e.g. backup batteries of the same type (article number of
lithium battery: A5E00369854 Type CR2032)
Risk of explosion and release of harmful substances
Before replacing the backup battery, take note of the important safety instructions
regarding battery replacement under "General safety instructions (Page 38)".
Observe the local regulations when disposing of used batteries.
Requirement
• You are familiar with the important safety instructions under "Safety instructions on
device and system extensions (Page 50)".
• You have noted the firmware settings because the configuration data of the device may
be deleted when the backup battery is replaced.
Information on the firmware settings can be found in the User Manual (UM) for the
motherboard, see "Important instructions and manuals for operating the device
(Page 10)".
• The device is fully disconnected from the mains voltage, see "Switching off the device
(Page 72)".
Procedure
1. Open the device. See the notes under "Open the device (Page 77)".
2. Remove the expansion cards, if necessary, see "Removing expansion cards (Page 80)".
