e Wash the caliper components with fresh brake fluid
before reassembly.
seals and pistons when installing them.
« Install the new piston seals and dust seals.
e Install the pistons.
» Apply SUZUKI SILICONE GREASE to the caliper axles.

e Install the brake pads.
e Tighten the caliper mounting bolts 1)to the specified torque.
Tighten the brake pad mounting bolts (2) to the specified
torque.
e After touching the brake hose union to the stopper @),
tighten the union bolt @ to the specified torque.
Caliper mounting bolt @) : 26 N-m (2.6 kg-m)
Brake pad mounting bolt @) :18 N-m (1.8 kg-m)
Brake hose union bolt @) : 23 N-m (2.3 kg-m)
NOTE :
Before remounting the caliper, push the pistons all the way
into the caliper.
e Bleed air from the air bleeder valve after reassembling the
caliper. (Refer to page 2-16.)
