THROTTLE CABLE PLAY
Throttle 'cable play @ should be '2. 4 mm"as measured 'at
throttle grip when turning the throttle gtip lightly. If the play (A)
in the throttle cable is incorrect, adjust it in'the following-way:
« Tighten the lock nut (1) while holding the adjuster (2).
Throttle cable play @ : 2-4 mm
PAIR (AIR SUPPLY) SYSTEM
Inspect initially at 12,000 km
« Remove the center cover frame.
e Remove the front cover frame. left and right.
« Inspect the vacuum hose 10) and Air hose @ for camage.
« Inspect the PAIR CONTROL VALVE for damage.
Inspect the PAIR. REEDVALVE for the carbon deposit, If the
carbon deposit. is: found in, the reed: valve, replace the PAIR
control-valve-with-a-new.one.
« Inspect that air flow through the PAIR control valve' If-ai
does not flow out, replace the PAIR valve with a new one. _

DRIVE CHAIN
Inspect initially at 1,000 km (1 month) and
Every 4,000 km (4 months) thereafter. :
Clean and lubricate every 1,000 km.
Visually inspect the drive chain for the below listed possible
malconditions.

If-any defects are found, the drive chain must be repla

recommends that this standard drive chain should be
used 'for the replacement.

often.
